Berkeley, you sure know how to make an entrance! This past weekend marked the official grand opening of The Yard Milkshake Bar’s very first California location, and the celebration was nothing short of incredible.
Opening Day Energy
From the moment the doors opened, guests lined up at 2433 Telegraph Avenue, excited to experience the over-the-top milkshakes and edible cookie dough that have made The Yard a national sensation. With a ribbon cutting and welcoming smiles from our team, the celebration set the tone for a weekend filled with sweet memories.
Community Love
One of the highlights of the weekend was seeing so many families, friends, and students from UC Berkeley stop by to celebrate with us. Guests snapped photos of their custom creations, shared laughs around the table, and made our shop feel like home from day one.

Fans wasted no time diving into The Yard’s signature creations. Towering jar shakes, loaded sundaes, and decadent bowls. Berkeley has a sweet tooth, and The Yard is here to deliver.
